That about sums it up. A tropical storm made its way to Dallas today, leaving the city under water, without power, and barely operating. It took me over an hour to get to work. Lights were out everywhere in major intersections. Several cars were in accidents on the highway. You had to drive through lakes to get from point A to point B. It was crazy.
When I got off work I came home, got my new Toll Tag, then in about 30 minutes headed out to the airport. Most of the traffic lights were still out 12 hours later. So much for fixing things I guess.
I got my mom at the airport, we came back, then went to Walmart with Files where we got a bunch of stuff, then were told to leave our carts and leave the store immediately due to a tornado in the area. We had some good stuff to buy, too.
At home we watched Psych, then I remember I do in fact have work tomorrow. I'm going to call Mal, then go to bed. Goodnight.
